Who we are
Vexlore Home is an AI-powered learning tool for homeschool families, purchased and used directly by a parent or guardian — it is not provided through any school or institution.
Who consents, and for whom
You, the parent or guardian, create and control the account. You sign in with your own Google account and add a profile for each child you're homeschooling. Your child does not sign in or create their own account — every piece of information about a child is entered and managed by you, and you may edit or remove it at any time.
What data we collect
From you: your email address and display name, from Google sign-in. For each child profile you create: the child's first name and grade level — nothing else is required. We log which AI tools are used and when, to operate and improve the service. We do not store the actual text of AI conversations.
How we use your data
Your account and child-profile data are used solely to run the service you signed up for — generating grade-appropriate learning plans and tracking progress for your family. We do not sell, share, or use your family's data for advertising, and we never share it with any other family, school, or third party.
Your rights
You may review, correct, or delete any child profile yourself at any time from within the app, or request a full export or deletion of your account and all associated child data by contacting us at the address below.
Data retention
Usage logs are automatically deleted after 365 days. Your account and child-profile data are retained for as long as you keep an active Vexlore Home account, and deleted promptly upon request.
Data security
All data is stored in Supabase with encryption at rest and in transit (TLS 1.2+). API keys and secrets are never exposed to the client.
Third-party services
AI responses are generated by Anthropic's Claude API. The prompts sent to generate a child's learning materials are sent to Anthropic for processing and are subject to Anthropic's usage policies; Anthropic does not use API inputs to train their models. Authentication is handled by Google OAuth via NextAuth.js. No other third parties receive your family's data.
